From a lack mindset to an abundant one

A lot of our lives, the majority of us have spent time or even now tend to spend time in a lack mindset, or from the vibration of scarcity. This renders us helpless, unsure, insecure, and overly exhausted as we then tend to pursue things that would ‘bring’ us stability, indulging in activities that do not tend to the satisfaction of who we truly are, and what we truly desire to have.

Whereas, understanding the fact that we are enough, enough to be, do, or have whatever it is that we would like to have, paves way to a whole new reality!

We are all extremely aware and potent beings, who have imbibed and absorbed projections, judgements, and beliefs of society, and or the people outside of us. These beliefs are not necessarily coming from a place of expansion, but rather from a place of a limited perspective. Thus operating from that perspective creates an extremely finite reality.

Every thought form is energy, so, everything we require, inclusive of ease, love, prosperity, etc., is energy as well - frequencies of which we all can tap into and we can. The energy of having money can be tapped into as well.

It is the frequency similar to how full and rich you feel -

  • Once you have completed a task or a project,

  • When you cook food that tastes amazing,

  • When you have been consistent with your self care routine,

  • When you make something special for a loved one, and gift it to them - these kinds of moments invoke an enhanced sense of being successful, of honouring your capabilities, and similar self-assuring beliefs.

You know how that feels, you are aware of the vibration of it and you can perceive the energy of that in your body. A lot of lack mindset stems from not being enough or not being worthy of - which is a major implant of this reality. Whereas, you know in your heart, when you look within there are numerous instances when you have witnessed how only your presence has brought a smile on someone’s face. Your worth is not defined by standards set by society or any being outside of you. You are inherently worthy of the things you wish because from a space of total worthiness, total alignment with self, and total awareness, you would never make a choice that will bring you or anyone outside of you any harm.

There are no set boundaries on what you can and cannot have. Abundance is a vibration as well that you can tap into, primarily by accepting your worthiness, by being thankful for what you already have and by recognising your true potential.

Quick tips to enhance and trust your inner guidance

Firstly, to rely on inner guidance you need to receive it without any beliefs or thought patterns hindering your reception. To receive it clearly, you must be aware of your emotions and keep a thorough track of your emotional well-being.

Figure out ways that help you regulate your emotions and express them healthily. Only when your mind is clear of the emotional overwhelm and is in a state of ease can you receive your inner guidance accurately. Our inner guidance is many times like a whisper in the air, the more we clear our minds, the more attuned we can be to receiving it without any filters and or inhibitions.

How can you strengthen it?

  • Practice mindful activities to become more aware of and grounded in the present moment.

  • Start small and seek inner guidance for the simplest of things. For ex. centre yourself with some deep breaths and ask what clothes would I like to wear today or what food would nourish my body?

  • Sit in silence, especially in nature. Probably in a park, near a water body, or in a forest. Any place that connects you to trees and the ground beneath you (whichever is possible for you)

  • Journal daily, do both - notice what happened and also how it made you feel, to get a better insight into your inner world.

  • Advance your insights about your inner world by noticing how a movie/show/song or anything that is especially creative and or artistic impacts you - what thoughts, feelings and beliefs do they bring to the forefront? How have they been strengthening or challenging your growth?

  • Optionally, you may practice psychic exercises (which you may find on YouTube!)

The more you become present in the moment and the more you observe your inner beliefs, the better idea you will have of what may or may not be influencing your perception of your inner guidance/intuition. This is a muscle to be built, so it will take time. Give yourself the grace to move through this journey patiently; it is not a competition but rather a journey to know more of you!

When I am asked - Why Tarot?

What is so great about Tarot?  Well, in my personal experience Tarot showed up as a gateway of possibilities. I am a person who is quite creatively inclined and especially towards visual arts. The imagery on the cards is what drew me to them, it reminded me of the storytelling aspect in paintings which has been alive since the dawn of human race. Illustrations of various kinds, have always been a core part of vocalising one’s thoughts, emotions and beliefs.

The vibrancy of the colours, the emotions, the outfits in the Tarot - everything has a meaning to it. All a part of a greater whole, something that is much more than the aesthetically pleasing or intriguing quality it comes with. It eventually became the most natural medium for me to explore my own psyche, beliefs and thoughts. Subsequently becoming a dynamic tool in guiding others as well.

Friends of mine who are fellow readers as well,  are aware of the wide variety of tarot and oracle card decks I have! Hahaha! Which again points to the fact that artwork stimulates my awareness a lot, aiding me in bringing in nuanced details in my readings. Each reader has their own innate intuitive prowess that they have honed or can hone to connect with the cards, tarot cards in particular. And I do believe that all of them go through their own process of self discovery and self realisation to recognise their unique strengths.

The system of Tarot itself (there are three, Marseilles, Thoth and Rider Waite System and in recent times Rider Waite is most commonly used) is such, that it is built on the journey of a being, The Fool, moving through various stages of becoming conscious and aware. Exploring the realms of mind, body and soul, the known and the unknown. So integrating that system with one’s own intuition can become quite a potent tool of self-exploration. It is true in my case and I have certainly understood the same for many other practitioners as well.

My intention is not just to share how powerful a tool Tarot is for self-reflection and mapping out your pathway towards your targets but also to encourage everyone to tap into the potential, the strength of their own intuition. The gift that our intuition is, has been downplayed by the society around us. I urge everyone to study, explore and learn your intuition - unlearn what clouds or dims its light. It is the gift of clarity imparted in us by the creator/source/universe that you will not find anywhere outside of yourself. Get acquainted with your inner voice, trust it.

Grace

Grace as moral strength to perform duty and that duty also is about taking care of yourself. Grace is not just about how you look while doing something, or in how you treat others. The Grace of God/Creator/Source, is also present within you FOR you. Extending that grace towards others is wonderful but it is equally important that you extend it to yourself.

In these harsher times that we are living in, where  the lack of patience, of allowance and or kindness is alarmingly high, having grace for yourself and others can be a potent tool to have more ease in your life.   If you look outside of yourself to receive this kindness and allowance that you have been longing for, chances are your search has not ended successfully. Most likely, the unfruitful hunt was because everyone is doing the same but not looking at the reservoir of wisdom and abundance within.

The energy that created the world flows through you - Abraham Hicks, ever since I heard that statement from them for the first time, it has been a core uplifting belief for me. It also looks at the scientific fact of how life got created, with a new set of eyes. So if all that is, is present within us in some way, shape or form it is highly likely that the vibration of being non-judgemental is there somewhere within our consciousness, our being, our body. But to experience it, directing one’s focus to its presence is imperative. Energy flows, where focus goes. The more focus is put into this direction, the more amplified will its presence be in one’s life. And if this energy is (metaphorically speaking), rising from the ashes or coming out of hiding, the first thing to break and make itself known is going to be all the layers of resistance you may have had against receiving the same kindness you have been seeking.

Here is where grace comes into play in two ways, a. Grace to extend this gift towards yourself to look for kindness and allowance within yourself and b. Having the grace to hold space for yourself as you face the more challenging parts of this journey. What kind of grace would you have if you were to assist a loved one, a pet or your child as they learn to recover from a wound or learn something new? And, what would it be like if you had the same kind of grace for yourself through those challenging moments? Could it possibly lead to a more non-judgemental life?

Rediscovering Communion with Earth

It was almost three years ago, when I was photographing personal work for my final submission in photography school that I acknowledged my affinity towards rocks. I left it there, did not come to realise it until I pictured them again, casually (as presented in the pictures).
It could be the element of Water that again drew me to it. As the first time I photographed one, while in school, was also at a beach.
Needless to say, this fascination actualised in terms of me collecting crystals and learning to work with them. I'm a novice with crystals as of now and I am truly thankful to be learning about them.

There is Consciousness in everything, even in these rocks. It holds the same energy that has created this Universe, that has created you and me.

Dolores Cannon, who created the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, where she would take the seeker to the origin of their soul, has mentioned instances when these people who got the hypnosis done, have in fact, lived as rocks! How interesting is that!?

The cracks, crevices, the windings in the design, the textures, the colours and the troughs - all representative of life itself, representative of the fractals of being, yet communion of the whole as one. They have so many stories to tell, witnessed so many happenings, some remain unperturbed by the waves and some flow along. Each - an archetype of its own, these rocks have much to tell and we have much to learn from them.

Remembering our roots, our communion with this planet is truly soothing to our being and also an affirmation that - everything is going to be all right.

Let your BLISS BE UNCONDITIONAL!

This is not easy to incorporate yet a very powerful knowing, which I too am re-learning myself in this phase of my life
Unconditional living and loving is absolute bliss, it is absolute liberation. I have experienced it myself a couple of years ago and it is just so exhilarating!

I am re-learning it now, because there is no denying the fact that we are constantly, everything is constantly evolving. And so, in this phase of my evolution I am learning to be unconditional, on a newer level, with a newer, evolved perspective.

It is imperative to understand that everything is an extension of source energy, and so everything within itself, is in a state of evolution. If our state of vitality, liberation, and or ecstasy is based on anything outside of us, it is going to be a rough ride. This is not to deny the fact that things/people/places outside of us can definitely contribute and influence our state of alignment, but it is very much in your hands to decide, to choose how significant that is, and if it should be significant at all. Making it insignificant does not take away the value of them or anything at all, in fact, it gives them the power to choose and be who they are - which is the choice you give yourself too in turn.

2.png

Unconditional living, is actually an ever going process, because you are perfect where you are and evolving into something more. So you will be faced with situations wherein you will learn a new nuance of how could you be more unconditional and thus be free in the truest sense of the word.

Take baby steps, applaud yourself for every milestone you cross towards becoming truly liberated and let your life ahead inspire you with the knowing that, it only gets better come what may!

Allowance vs. Acceptance

A new viewpoint!

Allowance and acceptance may seem similar in their meanings, yet are quite different vibrationally. I became more aware of this while attending one of my regular Access Conscious classes with an absolutely phenomenal facilitator - Shree Dembla, who addressed this question a couple of times in the numerous classes I have taken from her. Here is what I understood.

Accepting anything, is more aligned to making the acceptance of that thing a core definition of the experience, and in turn, truly imbibing it into your being so much so that you are not able to see, know, perceive or even receive beyond that said definition. This causes a havoc especially when we practice it with any sort of projection, separations, and or judgements thrown at us.
With some new epiphanies I have had in my own personal relationships recently, wherein I was projected on, and even I have projected my own fears on to the other person, based on judgements from the past, experiences from the past etc., I ingrained all of those definitions and conclusions as an integral part of my identity whereas I had to only be in the allowance of them . Making this a part of my identity made me create walls so big and thick, that in the name of protecting myself, I hindered the flow of many beautiful experiences, people, and places.
Acceptance is reaching a conclusion which does not leave room for looking at a whole spectrum of possibilities available to us.

IMG_3090.jpg

Allowance is simply being. It does not ask you to let go of your sense of truth, in fact, it encourages you to be in your truth fully, all the time, and letting everything else be, everyone else be. It is when we are in allowance of judgement from others that we open ourselves up to the possibility of being unperturbed by it, and receive so much more - a new insight, clarity of what or who you truly desire, liberation from being cooped up in a corner and shying away from the world, being unapologetically you! When we are in allowance of things, we breakaway from bonds, chains, barriers, and forms that do not hold true to our soul. Also, this leads YOU to be in allowance of YOU. So, you would know when you wish to be that fierce energy and be clear about what is it that aligns with you, and what does not.
Allowance is not about making yourself a doormat, it is about flowing downstream, embodying ease, embodying the knowing that you are a magnificent infinite being who is taken care of by this wondrous Universe, and witnessing life unfold miraculously!

The Dark can heal you too

It all begins with an idea.

It creeps in like a silent demon, your shadow, at least that is how you perceive it as - your demons. The dark, unhealed, unattended, and neglected parts of us are tormenting, scary, and difficult to face because of the said prejudices we already have about those parts of ourselves without actually having to face them ever.

These silent parts of us that bleed into our relationship with work, loved ones, ourselves and anything which is an extension of us, create chaos and brew storms that we do not anticipate. Our dark side is just as much who we are, as is our light. It is comprised of moments wherein our self expression was subdued, neglected, or condemned. It also consists of experiences that may not have occurred in this lifetime, but in some other. A lot of it is also projections and expectations of the society, imbibed by us.

For example, in a family which is all about positivity, poise, and grace, when the girl child expresses her anger against something that does not align with her truth, she is met with a hostile response of physical, verbal or emotional abuse as the family shuns this kind of behaviour. This makes her to spiral down into the ‘wrong-ness’ of who she is as she tries to express herself. Now, that she is a teenager, she comes across an experience of bullying and instead of being able to stand her ground, she suppresses her anger, a part of her intense energy that is her life-force and makes herself small to fit in, to be accepted, and to be not seen as someone who is a troublemaker. As an adult, she has a hard time building her self confidence and even being sure about her work, which leads to opportunities that may suffocate her, not appeal to her soul, and drive her into a very dark place from which it seems impossible to come out.

Now, recognising this pattern through self reflection, would help her to understand where this all began or even focus on why this is something to work upon and release. This is truly a eureka moment! Once this is acknowledged, she can address the wound - which is not a very pretty sight, but imperative nonetheless. Whenever we are experiencing old wounds and or similar patterns, it is either for the purpose of learning what has not been addressed earlier, or to release them with a new awareness or both. Remember, it is always darkest before the dawn.

2020-12-30-070206344.jpg

When you see your light in these darkest moments, your light which reminds you of your strength to address this, to face it, to integrate a lost part of yourself, you revive yourself in a way that is beyond magical and you see your true potency as a being. Now, the same girl after integrating the part of her shadow of not being able to speak her truth, post integration could be a powerful activist, a potent speaker uplifting others, a voice for the voiceless!

Integrating your shadow with your light also helps you to understand yourself better and know that you do not have to take the world’s weight and do everything on your own, certain aspects that may seem uneasy for you might come naturally to someone else. It does not make them better, it just makes them different, someone with a different speciality than yours. We are all co-creating, and at the core we are all one. And we all shine magnificently with our own individual spark!

Appreciate to Create!

Appreciation and the value it carries is becoming increasingly realized by the world around us. The things you thank about, come rushing into your experience! When you simply begin to count different aspects of your life that you value, you will notice that you become relaxed, centered, and refreshed. Starting my journey with the practice of appreciation as many times a day as possible was filled with its own adventures. Since the time I have been a child, cherishing the smallest of things and enjoying little moments did come easily to me. It stems from my childhood experiences that have been a bit uneasy, and so, inspired me to look for silver linings in the clouds. Upon starting this journey of appreciation, I realized that being thankful for, and happy about everything outside of me, was incredibly easier than within myself.

It took me a while, but I am doing it, I am appreciating myself more and more, appreciating and loving my body more than ever before, and yes, my life has changed immensely for the better! When you get the momentum started on positive aspects of anything, the Universe does take care of it. In fact, the Universe is your truest and best friend, it'll bring you exactly what you think about! So, the more you thank about things already going well for you (which could be plenty in number), you'll start attracting more of it, and thus creating more of it in your experience. A list of general things that you or anyone you know can't mess up, and you can be thankful for:

  • The sun rising every day and giving life to everything we know to be.

  • The perfect placement of our planet from the sun, and its rotation at the perfect pace.

  • The abundance of air for us to breathe.

  • The intelligence of our body which has stayed with us through good times and bad.

  • The blood being pumped by our heart even when we are asleep without our conscious efforts.

  • The roof over your head, the food on your table, and the clothes on your back.

  • The ability to read this.

  • The love and support of your dear ones.

  • The ability to witness the magnificence of this planet.

  • The tiniest desire of hope for a better day, a better life, and a better planet.

You could start to journal your feelings of appreciation, or write on random pieces of paper every day, or put them in a jar to look at them at some point later in time. You could even make social media accounts just to share what you are thankful for and you will be surprised as to how many people will share those feelings with you! Why not create a community about thankfulness?

Even if you write 5 points a day, you'll notice a positive change in your life very soon. This will concretize your beliefs, and even help you to create the life you want. There is nothing you can't be, do, or have!

Have you truly forgiven?

The typical energy that the word Forgiveness or Forgiving carries stems from the notion that you are 'sparing' and in essence forgetting the vibration related to a person who may have been the reason for causing you some sort of discomfort. Yet, you keep facing circumstances where you come face to face with a similar experience, and you wonder why that happened even after 'consciously' forgiving someone. So, did you really forgive?

With my recent experiences of awakening, and awakening to my shadow self especially, I have come to understand the deeper meaning of the word 'forgive'. Reflecting upon situations where I was hurt and broken from this newer perspective, I realized that in the act of 'forgiving' someone or the situation, I really just buried the pain somewhere within and was more compassionate to the one who hurt me compared to my own self. What a revelation! I valued the fact that the other person was naive or coming from a place of pain, but did not value the way I had felt or even honored what I had felt. So, this made me come to a place where I actually revisited some of these situations from a newer vibration, a broader perspective (and that only happens effortlessly when you ground, meditate, and practice appreciation), and from this point of view, I felt sure enough about myself and soothed the Malavika in those scenarios. I cried, A LOT, I have cried my heart out. Crying is one of the many ways your body releases resistant energy and I vouch for it!

I finally acknowledged what I felt and how I felt, forgave my own self for internalizing those situations, and making them a part of my identity. I accepted the situations and the people from this newer perspective for making me realize some of the core values I have in my life now, and that is:

- Someone else does not get to decide how happy I should be, it is in my hands.

- Someone else does not get to decide my worth, it is in my hands.

- Someone else does not get to decide how much I should care or empathize, it is in my hands

- Someone else does not get to decide how I must love, it is in my hands.

- Someone else does not get to bring me down, it is in my own hands!

I also realized that, valuing and acknowledging what I felt did not necessarily mean I had to share it with others, that is definitely a helpful way to go about but doesn't have to be the only way!

All of this also led me to understand that, someone who does us ill, might be someone we might have hurt intentionally or unintentionally in this lifetime or a previous lifetime. They are still carrying that energy in their soul. So, ask for forgiveness from them. Ho'oponopono is a Hawaiian tradition of forgiveness or reconciliation. It goes like this:

I am sorry

Please forgive me

Thank you

I love you

You may assign a personality to the situation as well if it's not a person, for ex: you can address it as your relationship with confidence - maybe in some lifetime or as a young one you were forced upon the idea that being confident is being aggressive and is not the quality of a 'good leader/person'. So, by practicing Ho'oponopono, you forgive yourself and the situation, and you truly 'heal' the energy with love, and release it to the universe to bring you the transmuted positive energy back into your life.

Forgiveness isn't justifying anyone or anything at all, it helps you to release your own self from the chains of pain, to unburden and liberate yourself, so that YOU may align with the true beauty that your soul is.
